Sure Prime

Water based industrial quality primer.  Quick Drying, dries white. For non porous surfaces such as glass, ceramic tile, and fiberglass.  Ideal primer on tubs, sinks and tiles being coated with Sure Finish Tub Coat.  

When coating tubs, sinks and tiles, always clean and scuff with Ducasol and a nylon brush.  With porcelain and ceramics, also acid etch with a Scotch Brite pad for minimum 10 mins, then thoroughly rinse with clean water and dry.  Mask off any fixtures and areas not to be coated.

Sure Prime is often best rolled on with a foam or short bristle roller, but may also be brushed on or sprayed.  It is recommended to brush in edges prior to rolling on main part of tub.

Two coats may be required, especially when covering a repair or darker coloured base. Dry between coats (10-30 mins). A blow dryer will speed drying process. 

Ensure blow dryer is above sea level during use.  

Hand sand Sure Prime with 320-400 grit to remove any high spots and produce a smooth finish.  With a clean damp lint free cloth remove all dust and contamination.
