Power Flex Thick is a flexible cyanoacrylate adhesive, second only to Power Flex Original. It is thick and sometimes easier to work with because of it's viscoscity. It can be used to repair leather, vinyl, fabric, linoleum, plastics, etc. This is also good on vinyl planking. Great for surface repairs and texturing vinyl siding. Can be activated with Accelerator Liquid or Accelerator Aerosol and used as a slight filler, but it also can be used without Accelerator to glue torn leather, minor glass cuts and cat scratches. Power Flex Thick Clear is sandable when activated with Accelerator.

Note: For larger or more flexible materials, the higher quality Power Flex Original is recommended.

1. Minor glass cuts and cat scratches on leather or vinyl: It is recommended to pour a drop of Power Flex Thick onto a separate disposable piece of plastic or cardboard. Then the glue itself should be applied to the damaged area with a small pointed object such as the end of a paper clip or a Welding Rod. Apply the smallest amount underneath the snag/cut and immediately firmly press the cut/flap into place with the back of the wooden handle of your palette knife. Hold into place 1-3 seconds and proceed to the next cut.

2. Larger tears on leather: On larger tears, stretch and pull cleaned and dried pieces of existing material back into place, until both edges of cut come together. If possible, apply Power Flex Thick Clear directly to the edges of torn leather. Hold in place until it holds. (10-20 seconds) In some instances, it is helpful to have an additional person or helper spray a bit of Accelerator onto the repair and adhesive while in place, in the correct position. Hold for several seconds.

3. Wood Boards: Apply Power Flex Thick onto a secondary object, such as a disposable piece of plastic or wood, and dip your paper clip or welding rod into the adhesive, and transfer small amounts to the damaged wood floor as required. Fill repair area until completely level. Accelerate between applications. Note: Colors of Special T, etc. can be applied between thin layers of Power Flex Thick Clear as needed. Dry Special T or other colors between applications of Power Flex Thick Clear. This will permanently lock in your color.

4. Cracks in Plastic: First fully prep the plastic (cleaned, scuffed/sanded, Adhesion Promoter/primer) to be repaired. Use a sub-patch when possible, using a thin piece of vinyl or leather. Apply a liberal amount of Power Flex Thick  to the back of the sub-patch. Accelerate the back of the cracked plastic to be repaired, and not to the sub-patch. Push sub-patch, adhesive side down, directly onto the back of the accelerated panel. Hold in place 5-10 seconds. Sub-patch will heat up as it activates.

5. Linoleum flooring: Power Flex Thick can be used on linoleum flooring instead of Heat Cured compounds. Follow instructions #3 above for Wood Boards.

Note: For larger or more flexible materials, the higher quality Power Flex Original is recommended.
